The American Dream: Breakfast for Dinner

So, on this particular day, we decided that we were tired of the boring routine of chicken with a variety of vegetables (consisting of broccoli and green beans), as has been our habit for the last month. Instead, we opted for the less conventional breakfast for dinner.

What we did not consider was our lack of experience in the art of waffle making...

So this is what went down. On our first attempt we neglected to use cooking spray, leaving our waffle in pieces that we wrestled out of the waffle maker. Using makeshift cooking spray (i.e. vegetable oil), we tried again. But this time we deep fried an excessively large waffle, resulting in a possibly toxic waffle explosion (as shown in Figure 1.1). Learning from our mistakes, we made yet another waffle using...significantly...less...batter...(as shown in Figure 1.2). After our last attempt at a waffle (as shown in Figure 1.3), we decided that we need to hone our waffle making skills.

As it stands, we are determined to continue our efforts to make the perfect waffle--though we may appreciate our chicken and vegetables a little more now.
